Taking up the slack

The electrical looks to be pretty much in and all that extra wire and slack has been neatly tucked away (mostly anyway).  The PM told me that the framers will be back tomorrow to work on some of the issues.

My face wanted to melt off every time I walked outside today since it was blazing out, so I brought over some sweet tea.  Hopefully few people got to drink some and not just some dude hiding in the basement corner trying to chug all 18 bottles down.

Pfffff you have one pizza oven...  I have 6 alone in front of my house.  You mad?
Those yellow things are beaver traps (kitchen)

Yeap, some fascinating writing on these pipes

Me sneaking up on the "Defender" water heater.  It is not protecting things very well and it was easy prey.
Are you staring at me? : |

That soffit is going to be filled with danger.  Gas, electrical, water, beavers(?)

The storage area where we will try to hide the things we don't use but can't throw away

I am really surprised that this is all there is to the water pipe coming into the house.  The gas pipe is simple too and is up at the top right corner of the picture.  My last house had some metal pipe and valve business that was not as clean as this.  This should be much easier to wall up (if we ever throw some stuff away in the storage area!)

The furnace has decided to jut its way into the living space

This is a different light placement from what I remember for the light going down to the basement.  I was thinking that this was in the center of the stairs.  This could work too, just different than what I thought it would be

Wired Up!

Someone was slinging power cable around like beast today in the house!  I swear there must be enough copper wire to make a new transoceanic line.  I imagine someone rolling up in a truck with a big spindle of cable on the back and someone yelling "PULL!" to string it all up.

Oh geez, what wire goes where again?! (foyer/living room)

I said give me some slack!  This is clearly not enough line! (foyer)

More BS studs....going to have to watch those! (foyer)

Note to self, dining room entry cannot be widened further without some serious pipe routing!

Even got the refrigerator water hookup plumbed in.  They also got the elbows all picked up from the morning room in the distance (not a small feat!)

The starboard thruster gauges (kitchen sink piping)

The wall is yacking wires and has had enough (kitchen sink switches)

They has mistakenly put the attic entry in bedroom #2 and I was wondering how they were going to fit this in the laundry room since the pipe had already been laid.  Well this answers my question.  I can only imagine the reaction when the PM asked this person to reroute the vent pipe.  Choice words I am sure!  Thanks to the PM for getting this one done for me!

Ceiling of power cables (upstairs hallway)

That vent fan is going to need lots of power, but then it is the quietest fan ever so maybe it does not need that much!

Bedroom #4

Better be "defending" my wallet from my gas bill!  I am counting on you water tank!

Pretty reasonable efficiency here on the water heater (less is better in this case)

The whole rig as it stands now

This is the clean out but I am not sure what that cable is, interesting

Has anyone seen my elbows?

Work on the plumbing started today.  Its exciting to start seeing the systems of the house being installed!  This is going to be a busy week!

Worker #1, "Has anyone seen my elbows?"  Worker #2, "Yeah, I saw them..."  Worker #2 gets the trash can full of elbows and proceeds to dump them all out on the floor of the shed (morning room) with style.  Work #2, "There's your friggen elbows!"  Worker #1, "That's a lot of elbows man!"

It's a water bib

And another water bib somewhere there on the morning room, honest.  Maybe I will take a better picture next time **maybe**

I think that I took this picture to show I had a vent there now, wowzers

More vents

House thrusters (starboard side)

It's fun to be at the YMCA

Hose bib on the west side.  Shiny new!

No seriously that is a lot of elbows!

Sure why not a few more pictures of the same thing
Better be no unintentional leaks at this juncture!
The back of the pipes (hall bath)

Yet another view

So your going to see a lot of pipe pictures here (hall bath)

There is

The hall bath right above the family room

Hall shower
I think they fixed the hole in the insulation back there behind the shower!  Hard to tell but I do not see it anymore.
I wonder if that pretzel bag will be sealed up for archaeologists to find later :-)

The vent fan that will be attached to a humidity sensor

Someone better caulk that!

Where elbows go when they have been bad.... to the hole!
